Announcing BETA Phase II

We are very happy and excited to announce the much anticipated BETA Phase II.

The second phase of Bloodline Champions BETA will begin March 14th!

Here are a few things you can look forward to.

Four (4) new Bloodlines, bringing one new Bloodline for each archetype and raising the current number of available Bloodlines to 16.

A complete new setting, allowing combat on the snowy peaks of Silverridge Mountain.
New Game Mode: Conquest, circulating around the domination of zones on the map with the ultimate goal of locking enemy players out from respawning and thus winning the game.
New Maps: Two new Arena maps and one Conquest map.

Total overhaul of the Bloodgate and user interface!
- Added Friends list, enabling you to keep track of your friends and their status in-game!
- New in-game Interface, allowing a more efficient view of the game area!
- Quick Profiles enabling you to quickly inspect the stats of other players!
- New and improved Game Lobby allowing you to customize server settings further!
- Improved Server Admin functionality giving the server creator greater control over the players on the server!
- Improved Graphics, Sound and Interface settings!

The second batch containing around 500 keys has been sent out.

If you're hoping for one, make sure to keep an eye on the junkbox aswell as we've had trouble with some e-mails ending up in there. If you recieve your key in the junkbox, make sure to mark us as safe so you'll get the future e-mails in the inbox.

If you didn't get a key this time around, better luck next time!

The next batch of beta keys will be sent out when we get over 1337 fans on Facebook!

Most of you know Bloodline Champions could use some more marketing and since we're a small indie company our budget is low and we've acknowlegde facebook to be a great tool for us to spread Bloodline Champions to people!

So please get your friends to become fans so their friends see us and become fans.. and so on. So yeah we're kind of using you guys to get more people intrested in the game, we hope that's ok. ;) If they want a chance on getting a key they still need to sign up for the beta on the website!

This is a small start but we hope it'll be a good one.

So 1337 fans and the next batch of keys will be sent out!

Bloodgates first major opening!

We have now opened the bloodgate server!

This means you can log into the game and chat.
That's about it, but we'd love if you joined to see how the server react to alot of players in the chat and alot of chatting.

Make sure to take an extra peek in the junkbox, we've had some trouble with e-mails ending up there. And if they do, mark us as safe to make sure you'll get other important messages in the inbox from now on.

Beta Updates and Q&A Session

Beta Signup
This is a reminder for everyone that hopes for a beta spot. If you haven't got a confirmation mail regarding the beta sign up you most likely entered the wrong e-mail and therefore have no chance of receiving an invite. So everyone that have not received a confirmation should reapply for the beta to be able to be selected. Remember that applying several times won't increase your chances of a beta spot.

Questions and Answers Session
There will be a Q&A session this Thursday between 07:00 pm and 08:00 pm (GMT +1) in the Bloodline Champions IRC channel (#bloodlinechampions; Quakenet). You can use this client. At the session you will have the opportunity to ask any question regarding Bloodline Champions to the developers and they will do their best to answer them. If you can't attend or already have questions you can post them at the forum and they will be answered at the session as well. After the session all questions and the answers will be posted at the forum for everyone to read. Please use the following forum thread to write your questions in this thread.

Beta Newsletter
We will send out a newsletter a few days before the beta starts including a lot of information regarding the beta. There you can read on how we select people to the beta, what the beta contains, how the beta plan look like and a lot more.

Our first announcement and x-mas gift to you is that the first beta stage of Bloodline Champions is planned to start on the 25th of January!

Christmas Concept Competition

It's time for christmas, and nothing is filled with more christmas spirit than some healthy christmas competition! More specifically it's time for the first (and maybe last) annual Christmas Concept Competition!

Post your Bloodline Champions christmas fanart on our forums for the chance to be one of three lucky (and talented) winners chosen by us. The winners will each be awarded early beta access and eternal christmas-flavored glory!

Entries must be submitted by the 20th of December for us to be able to rate them in time for Christmas Eve. Entries will be rated primarily based on innovation and creativity. Fancy artwork is a plus, but capturing true christmas spirit is far more important.

Sorry for the long wait.

But here's the winners of the worlds first Bloodline Champions tournament

Team: ITU

Bloodline set up: spearmaster, alchemist, nomad

They didn't win the end game against the Dev-team but before that they did a brilliant performance in the tournament.
The winners will receive Bloodline Champions t-shirt and of course Beta keys for the closed beta.

Everyone in the tournament will get a beta key during the closed beta, if we got their e-mail.

We'll try to get some more pictures and stories from DH up. So stay tuned.

Dreamhack pre-beta try out!

We're letting people play at their own PC during Dreamhack!!!

To play at your own computer you download this torrent http://www.bloodlinechampions.com/BloodlineChampions.torrent
and install by clicking setup.exe (not the Bloodline Champions installer.msi)

Come by our booth to get a Key to be able to create an account. There's a limited amount of Keys that will be handed out.

The game will only be playable during Dreamhack, and we can't promise that the game will work properly on all computers.
So please be patient and remember that we're still pre-beta.

If you get bugs and crashes you can either join us at IRC in the channel #bloodlinechampions on quakenet, or swing by the booth.
Our rl support team has alot to do at the moment tho, so be patient and we'll do our best to help you out.
