a few suggestions

1) being able to zoom out more. i prefer being able to survey the battlefield better. also, i seems to be that i am able to see farther ahead, than i am behind. major detriment. i understand some people prefer to unlock the camera, but i would prefer to simply zoom out more.

2) either implement, or give us the option for, a more contrasting fog of war. the subtle blue haze often belies what i can and can not see. if i had a personal option to darken it, i would do so and be happier for it.

3) a more vibrant indicator that the ultimate is ready. larger text, more flash, a glow on the character, stronger glow on the ult icon, not having the icon filled in before its ready (or having it fill in as your bar fills). any of these could help. i often find myself in a tight situation neck and neck with the enemy at 10% hp for each of us and if i knew i had my ultimate, it would be no contest.

4) on a note/suggestion from a friend: implement "while stunned you receive x% less damage". you guys can decide the "x%", but its really far to easy to get stunlocked to death.

1: They made it that max view distance for a reason, if fog of war/line of sight didn't exist and you could see the entire map it'd be detrimental to people whos' computers can't handle it. But there is fog of war/line of sight, so it wouldn't really help.

2: Instead of making it blackish like most games I'd say make it different color fogs (probably changed by the magic of the area) and the same kind of hazy gradient it is now. If anyone's played neverwinter nights and seen the neat kinds of fog, that kind.

3: Most people can scan the bottom of the screen to view if abilities are ready in 25 milliseconds, can't you?

4: That's what teammates are for, stuns mean nothing if they are pressured off of you and can't damage you, or you are just healed as you are damaged and make it out alive.

1. No, use the free cam instead. (Standard button is the scroll wheel on your mouse.)

2. I don't see any problem with it, I think it's because of same thing as demand 1.

3. Actually I could support this giving us a bigger hint when the ulti is ready. Then again, I guess it's here some skill comes in when you should check when you got ulti ready or not?

4. So stun them back?

you guys dont seem to understand my number one. what i want is the ability to better view my sphere of vision. if it means an inch of fog on all sides, i dont care, i want to purely see my field of vision and its borders. i dont see how thats unreasonable at all.

also, 4 is just a suggestion. take it or leave it.

the fog, take it or leave it, its not THAT bad, it would just be a nice option.

number 3, i know im not alone on this one.

For 3, they could do one of those popup descriptor things (ex: stunned, blinded, the popup text on your character), in its own distinct color, like a bright blue, saying, Ultimate! or, Ultimate ready! (might be too long). As for the other 3, no way, the distance is fine.

Besides, view distance is huge, and you don't want to see the entire map and your character be so tiny you can't tell what's happening to it.

I disagree with most of these, except for 3. From what I hear, people can't tell when their ult is ready. It needs to be more obvious. Fog of war isn't that big a deal...

So pretty much you're saying "If you don't agree then don't post"

Yeah, that will win arguements.

i'll admit i had this same problem during my first 20 of games or so, after that you just get used to checking your energy and you know when you can expect an ultimate to become available.
In other words it something that might be bothersome, but only at the very start of your blc gaming.

i dont understand why everyone is so steadfast against these. they are merely options that if you like the way it is now, people who dont could change it. you could stay at the same zoom if you really wnat it, im just asking for the option that i could zoom out more. how is that bad/wrong?

how is asking for an option to set your personal fog contrast bad? if you like a light haze, then keep it, why are you so against me being able to darken mine?

As for the view distance, you'd kind of have a tactical advantage over anyone who didn't use it, so everyone would be forced to zoom out max if this is the kind of zoom you are suggesting.

As for fog, fog of war is for real time strategy, opaque fog doesn't really look right in a combat game. Think battlefield.

i'm 100% for making ulti more 'obvious'

zooming out more would just be annoying. idc, i wouldnt use it

fog of war, hell make it sparkly with glittery stars and pretty little snowflakes for all i care. as long as its not invisible, i'm fine with it. maybe making just the border of the fow more visible would be nice i guess..

question 4 - stuns are pretty powerful, but only if youve got teamwork. u cant 'just' stunlock people to death. imo too early to tell if stunlocks are truly imba, but i seriously doubt it. atm i see very few imbalances in the game
