Is there any line up that doesn't benefit from having an Engi?

The worst thing about engi is that he doesn't have enough zoning as MrX said. So, if you're playing a no-zoning or no-goodcc setup you're going to get outzoned, which will end in a win for the other team, or a huge advantadge for them atleast.

If there was a tier list in this game it would go like this.

SM / Engi tier>Everything else tier>Guardian tier

...I don't now where i'm going with this either, i hate engi :(

I also feel the need to bump this. Okonkwo is just telling us the truth *violin*

Edit* Try having some good arguments before making a thread, because this one is at the moment useless for any kind of discussion.

Because these kinds of threads tend to become places where mediocre players cry about things they can't really understand and sometimes the devs even listen to what they say.

"brb, just gonna go and give a *peeeeep*"

You sure cared enough to go on forums and make a butthurt thread. It's just sad to see these kinds of thread being posted on forums. There is no sort of argumentation and just overall having the most random accusation I've seen in a long time. Couldn't resist to leave a reply.

Regarding the topic: Engi>All = false. If you are having a hard time playing against engineer go whisper some good engineer players like mr2,nopa, nevepp, thunderr or khyrez for example. They are all good engi players and can surely give you some pointers on how to better handle an engineer in game. Also, I hope your statement comes from a 3v3 perspective and that you would come up with some argumentation.

Don't know what part of engineer you're talking about, but the only beef I have with him is his R being a support ability, the other range classes not having an applyable buff to partners. I think support abilities should be limited to tanks/healers only, I made this suggestion a few months back but was shut down rather soon but I still hint the notion that support abilities on DPS classes allow for too many mistakes, if you imagine a composition like Harbinger, Engineer, Alchemist. You turtle up and have probably 4-5 outs, everytime you hit a grip on one of the enemies they'll be sure to take a decent chunk of damage. If your engineer/harb gets gripped you nullify it 9/10.

You'll want to improve your gameplay as a team where you force more mistakes than you do mistakes yourself, nullifying them because of bad design on DPS bloodlines isn't how it should be. This crap also allow for such drawn out games, luckily Harb/engi bullshit comps are almost extinct now.

Engi R is imo the best ability in game even after nerf. Also Stormcaller has a shield that can be put on allies, it's just a bit poxy.

Stormcaller is irrelevant since I deny his existance, he should've been released a year from now.
